Description

Peg and Awl 6" ruler for on-the-go measuring made with cherry from a fallen tree from Bartram's Garden that we were invited to mill in 2018! We are making rulers from the scraps. Each ruler has a Pearl and says: Measure what is measurable and make measurable what is not so. This was attributed to Galileo but was likely not actually said by him.

Beautiful Simplicity
This is such a lovely object, wonderfully simple and useful and at the same time a charming work of art. That the wood was sourced from a fallen tree from historic Bartram's Garden is extra special. The color and grain is warm and rich, and I love the "Pearl" finish!
